There is a common myth out there that real men are indestructible. The truth, however, is not that glamorous. No matter how strong, manly, or tough looking you are, you are in the same dangers as the rest of humanity. The difference between men and real men is that the latter ones are ready to do whatever it takes in order to get their mind and body in order. Speaking of which, here are few universal tips for good health, that's all men should at least consider.

Optimal Bodyweight
One of the first things you should pay attention is your overall bodyweight. Today, obesity is more a problem than it ever was before. Sure, there are always those who claim that this kind of thinking is nothing else than a simple mean-spirited body-shaming, but this cannot be any further from the truth. Obesity increases you chance of cholesterol and is listed as one of the main causes behind type 2 diabetes. There's more. Both being overweight and underweight can both affect one's libido and his sperm count. Which can become a problem for couples who are trying to get pregnant. All in all, bodyweight is about more than just appearance.
Drop Your Bad Habits
Not many things look as awesome as an attractive man with a cigarette in his hand. One the other hand, dying from a lung cancer at the stage of 40 is definitely not awesome. Neither does losing your breath after trying to run for just few seconds. Needless to say, tobacco is one of the first bad habirts you will want to drop. Same goes for alcohol and any non-essential medication that you are currently using. The greatest problem here is that most of them create a strong addiction, but this means that you will get chance to demonstrate the strength of your character to everyone around you.
Boost Your Self-Confidence
When we talk about health, we shouldn't be focusing on physiological problems exclusively. The lack of self-confidence or failure to acknowledge your self-worth are also serious issues, ones you will have to deal with sooner or later. In short, you should do whatever it takes to feel good about yourself once more. If you are not happy with your body, start exercising. If you are ashamed of your crooked smile, visit a dentist. The latter one was particularly troublesome amongst the male population, but there days things are looking up in some parts of the world. Men in Sydney are less and less afraid of admitting they have a dental issue and more likely to visit a dentist in Bondi Junction than they were just few years ago.
Take Some Time to Rest
Finally, your body needs time to rest, which means you should plan your day around these mandatory breaks. Most importantly, however, go to sleep early and get up early in the morning. Our body is programmed to get the most rest between 8pm and 12am, which means you should be in bed at least by 10pm. Sure, this may seem way too early, but you will be able to get up much earlier and be better rested. In other words, you will be able to do more in less time. If you schedule your day properly, you won't have any problem with achieving this.
Conclusion
The best thing about these health tips is that they can completely turn your life around. If the motivation is your problem, just try it out as an experiment. Positive effects can be seen almost immediately and this is what helps most people get going. Furthermore, none of them require a serious commitment or investment only that you change your daily schedule a bit at the time. What's the worst they can happen?
