Last September has come and gone, with zero expectations on my mind but food, the tickets were already booked. So my friends and i flew 2 hours to Kuala Lumpur. The great things i had only heard about KL is, from food to food. We ended up staying 3 days in KL and yes it was amazing due to its central tourist location. It wasn't until our last and final full day of exploring, we decided to take a 55 minutes flight to Penang. My personal favorite moments of this trip were exploring the street foods and cafes, seeing Petronas Twin Towers in person and what else than shopping. Thank God we did it, those days were breathtaking. There's honestly so much to see and do, but please read below for everything i have done and compiled a complete list and city guide:

798 Shabu-Shabu Sunway Pyramid - Taken kilometers to get here but definitely worth the distance, 2 hours of all you can eat buffet only cost you RM 38.25
A Pie Thing - The best place for snacks!
VCR / Feeka Coffee Roasters - Charming cafe near Bukit Bintang
Acme Bar & Coffee - Shopisticated global foods, brunch & wine served in relaxed, industrial chic-room
Jalan Alor - Food haven
Hutong - Food courts located within malls are plentiful in KL, but hutong is said to be one of the best in the business. Located in Lot 10 Mall.

Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur - We had the loveliest moment at this property due its central location in Bukit Bintang financial district
