From Istanbul back to Kocaeli, as from a city back to a village. Everything feels completely different-the weather, view, people, place as well as food. Still wanted to feel the heat of the season, we decided to go to Sapanca Lake. It's located on a tectonic hole, situated between Izmit Bat and Adapazari Meadow, surrounded by mountains in the south and small hills in the north. The water itself is taken for domestic and industrial needs. Meanwhile the region around Sapanca has become very important for day trips and weekend vacations with its charming natural beauty. So there is a camp on one side of this Lake, called Seka Kampi. We had chicken barbecues, hung on back on the lawn, played volleyball, and eventually we jumped over the lake. The lake is super wide as you cannot see the end of it, therefore the view was just spectacular yet magical. The camp itself was full of turks, together with their family, and a few hours before the end of the camp, 2 of my friends had a water sport exactly on the Sapanca Lake, it's like surfing without waves, but you're pulled by a machine that's connecting to all four sides (like a square) on the lake, meanwhile we were at a lakeside cafe. Last but not least, we had a great time together
